(Springfield, MO)--Outdoor lovers are already gearing up for this year's fishing season.
Bass Pro Shops kicks off its annual 10-day Boat and Fishing Show today.
The event features this year's newest boating technology as well as seminars from some fishing professionals including fishing tips and organizing your boat.
The free show will have family activities, giveaways and chance to win a free kayak and Bass Pro gift certificates.
And a grand prize drawing features a new 2012 fishing boat and trailer valued at $17,000.
The event runs through the 22nd at Bass Pro Shops on South Campbell.
