One of the Greene County ice storm debris drop-off sites will be shutting down this weekend.  According to the County, the site near Willard will be closed to the public at sundown on Sunday, March 25th.

Greene County residents will still be able to take their debris to the drop-off sites in Fair Grove, the Phenix Quarry near Farm Roads 43 and 44 and the Springfield Sanitary Landfill.

DRC Emergency Services, the contractor for Springfield and Greene County debris removal, will still haul debris to the Willard site until March 31st.  After that, DRC will begin restoring the site to its original condition, including grading and reseeding.  The restoration process is expected to be complete by mid-April.
