Bank Branch Hit Again

For the second time in a week, robbers have held-up the Great Southern Bank branch at 3962 South Campbell.

Police say they are looking for two people - one who entered the bank, and one who drove the getaway car.

The robbery happened shortly before 3:00 pm Monday when one of the two suspects walked into the branch and demanded money.  Employees did not see a gun or other weapon.

Police are now trying to find a maroon colored Dodge Stratus used to get away from the bank.  If you have any information about this hold-up, call Springfield police at 864-1810, or the Springfield FBI office at 882-3303.
