Store Robbed at Gunpoint

Springfield police are looking for an armed robbery suspect at this morning.
Officers say a man walked into the Fast and Friendly convenience store in the 2700 of North Kansas Expressway just before 4:30 am, showed a handgun and demanded money from the clerk.
He took the money, then ran from the store, north toward I-44.
Police say the suspect is a white man, about six feet tall with a thin build and facial hair.
At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a dark-colored hoodie and a green stocking cap.
