The Missouri Attorney General has been asked to investigate allegations of misconduct by the Christian County Commission.
Four complaints, ranging from conduct of elections to failing to take bids for contracts, were leveled against the commission by Christian County resident Ernest O'Gaffney.
O'Gaffney made the complaints to Christian County Prosecuting Attorney Ron Cleek.
Citing a conflict of interest, because he also represents the County, Cleek requested the Attorney General be appointed as special prosecutor to look into the allegations.
The order was signed by the judge Thursday.
