List of Shelters Across the Ozarks

If you're looking for a local shelter to escape the cold, here is a list of shelters in the region:
Anyone living in Greene County should call the Greene County Office of Emergency Management for shelter assistance at: 417-869-6040
Persons traveling to shelters are advised to bring bedding, personal hygiene
items and necessary medical supplies. Pets are not allowed in shelters.
SPRINGFIELD SHELTERS
- Salvation Army Headquarters
- Missouri State Special Needs Shelter
- Salvation Army Harbor House - Closed due to power outage
- Southgate Baptist Church- Remington's on Republic Rd.
- Red Cross at Division is not in service at this time due to power failure
- Jordan Valley Ice Park Shelter is not in service at this time due to power failure
- Schweitzer Methodist Church has reached full capacity for overnight guests but will be open for hot meals and as a warming center to the public
- American Red Cross at West Bypass is at a maximum capacity for overnight guests
- The Salvation Army at Kansas and Chestnut Expressway is at a maximum capacity for overnight guests but hot meals will be served to the general public.
- Three Special Medical Needs shelters are open for individuals who are homebound, wheelchair users, or need basic supportive care. Call 869-6040 for locations and more information.
GREENE CO. SHELTERS
- Fellowship Bible Church in Rogersville has lost power and is NO LONGER a warming station
- Willard - Community Center, Curfew of 10:00pm no one admitted again until 8:00am
- Willard Emergency Management may be reached at 417-742-3033
- Fair Grove Fire Department
- Republic Early Childhood School will be open from 9:00am-9:00pm
