(Republic, MO) -- Five people have now been charged in connection with a bloody assault in Republic Monday morning. Two are still not in custody.

They are Aaron Kurek, 20, and Shane Launius, 26. Both men are charged with First Degree Assault and 3 counts of Felonious Restraint. Kurek also faces Armed Criminal Action charges.

Sheriff Arnott says the two men may be armed. Call 911 if you have any information.

Already charged in the assault are Kenneth Shaw, 18, Larry Shaw, 60, and Davy Montgomery, 32. They are each charged with First Degree Assault and Armed Criminal Action. Kenneth Shaw also faces 3 counts of Felonious Restraint. All three are held in Greene County Jail.

Greene County Sheriff Jim Arnott say all five men are linked to an assault that happened at around 7 am Monday at the Alpine Village Mobile Home Park. That's off Highway 60.

Sheriff Arnott says at least 12 people were inside the single wide mobile home at one point, four of which were held against their will for several hours.

Of those four was a 24-year-old male who'd been severely injured on his face and head. He was discovered in the parking lot, claiming he'd been left there. He's in stable condition at a local hospital tonight.

Sheriff Arnott says several persons of interest have been interviewed. A motive for the crime is still under investigation.
