Three Arrested in Greene County Shooting

Three people are in custody for a shooting in northeast Greene County Monday afternoon.

The Greene County Sheriff's Department says it received several reports of people in a truck firing shots at other vehicles in the area of farm roads 165 and 92.

When deputies arrived in the area, they spotted the truck, and the driver allegedly led them on a short chase.

Officers were able to stop the truck and took the three people inside into custody without problems.

Investigators say they found a shotgun at the scene, along with several simulated pistols and a large quantity of marijuana.

Formal charges are pending.
