U.S. Attorney Resigning

(Kansas City, MO) -- The U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Missouri announces he's stepping down.
John Wood submitted his resignation to President Obama on Wednesday and plans to leave at the end of the month.
Wood was appointed as the U.S. Attorney by former President George W. Bush. He plans to become a partner of a leading Wall Street law firm in Washington, D.C.
