More than $6 million could be on its way to Southwest Missouri for critical transportation projects.
$3 million would upgrade the I-44 and Route 266 interchange to serve the Springfield-Branson National Airport's new midfield terminal.
$500,000 would repair and expand the intersection of Highway 13 and Broadmoor in Springfield.
And $750,000 would improve Highway 60 just west of Republic.
The U.S. Senate approved that funding in its 2008 fiscal year spending bill. Lawmakers must now reconcile that bill with the House of Representative's version.
