(Jefferson City, MO) -- More Missouri seniors are elegible for the state's property tax credit this year.

The credit increased this year to $1,100 and now includes households with incomes up to $34,000 a year.
Here's a look at who's eligible to apply for the credit.

You have to be 65 years or older or totally disabled.
You also cannot have an income above what's listed here:

*$27,000 (Single Renters)
 *$29,500 (Married Renters)
 *$30,000 (Single Homeowners)
 *$34,000 (Married Homeowners)

The credit refunds are based on your income and how much you've paid in rent or real estate taxes.
