TORNADO WARNING ISSUED

...A Tornado Warning remains in effect until 645 am CDT for Webster
and southeastern Greene counties...
At 609 am CDT...National Weather Service Doppler radar continued to indicate a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado three miles southeast of Strafford...moving northeast at 20 mph.
The tornado will be near:
* Marshfield by 640 am CDT.
* Niangua by 645 am CDT.
*The town of Northview is in the path of this tornado.
This also includes Interstate 44 between mile markers 84 and 108.
The safest place to be during a tornado is in a basement. Get under a workbench or other piece of sturdy furniture. If no basement is available...seek shelter on the lowest floor of the building in an interior hallway or room such as a closet. Use blankets or pillows to cover your body and always stay away from windows.
