Governor's Conference On Economic Development Begins Today

(Springfield) -- As many as 1,400 people are expected to attend the Governor's Conference on Economic Development this week in Springfield.
The event kicks off today and will run through August 30th.
This year's theme, "Made in Missouri: From People To Products," will focus on bringing Missouri stakeholders together and finding ways to improve the state's growing economy.
Congressman Kenny Hulshof and former St. Louis Cardinal Lou Brock will be guest speakers at the event.
