| Friday Jul 3 |
A batch of rain showers with embedded storms slides eastward and across the Ozarks this afternoon and will not have much of an impact on the "I Love America" celebrations. Temperatures will be in the upper 70s by the time fireworks light up the sky. |
| Saturday Jul 4 |
A cold front moves in from the north and sparks scattered showers and storms. Mother Nature's fireworks on the 4th of July will last until the evening hours before pushing southward into Arkansas by the overnight hours. If you are going to be outside at all, plan on coming in while the storms push through and wait 30 minutes after the last clap of thunder before returning outside. Some of the storms could be severe and produce damaging winds and large hail. |
| Sunday Jul 5 |
A few showers and storms may be ongoing during the morning hours across Arkansas, otherwise it's expected to be dry. |
| Monday Jul 6 |
Comfortable conditions persist into the start of the work week. Enjoy the comfy weather while it's here because hot weather is expected to return by the middle of the week. |
| Tuesday Jul 7 |
Seasonal readings return, under a mostly sunny sky. A ridge of high pressure continues to build eastward and will set up shop across the Midwest by the end of the week. |
| Wednesday Jul 8 |
The ridge builds closer and temperatures respond by climbing above 90 during the afternoon hours. |
| Thursday Jul 9 |
The heat returns but not as much humidity as a couple of weeks ago. |
