The beginning of Mansfield Home Centers was in 1983. It was first known as Mansfield Building Supply and was located off of the public square in Mansfield, Missouri. Due to superior customers service we expanded to Gainesville, Missouri in 1991 (recently expanded in 2006). Gainesville Building Supply is located at the junction of Hwy 5 and Hwy 160. Ava Building Supply came to be in 1999.
Due to the success of all three locations we consolidated to be known as Mansfield Home Centers. In 2003, our Mansfield location was moved to our new building located on the corner of hwy 5 south and business 60. Because of our continued success, we strive to meet the needs of our customers in value, service and competitive pricing. We assure you that a visit to one of our stores will be a wonderful experience and you will want to come back for all your building and remodeling needs.
Thanks to every one of our customers that helped make Mansfield Home Centers what it is today. We look forward to meeting new customers and continuing our tradition of great customer service to everyone that visit our store.

Where are you located? We have 3 locations; Mansfield, Ava, and Gainesville. The Mansfield store is located at Hwy 5 south and business 60, which is less than 45 minutes from Springfield. The Ava store is located just 2 block east of the junction Hwy 5 south and 14 Hwy. The Gainesville store is located at Hwy 5 south and Hwy 160. Are you as competitive as the "big box stores"? We are very competitive due to our 3 locations. We have strong purchasing power and experienced customer service associates. If we do not carry something that you are looking for we will make every effort to obtain it at a competitive price.
Why should I shop at your stores? If you are tired of being ignored at the big box stores, we promise you your experience at Mansfield Home Centers will give you a different feeling about home improvements. We will be glad to assist you while you shop and answer any questions that you might have. Our customer service staff is very knowledgeable in almost every aspect of the building. They are not assigned to a specific department but to the entire store so you won't be passed from the plumbing guy to the electrical guy. We promise you will be surprised at the values and service you will find at Mansfield Home Centers.
Do you deliver? Yes. We will deliver sizable loads free of charge up to a 45mile radius. Smaller loads may require a minimal deliver charge. Just give us a call and we will let you know exactly what charge, if any, it will be.
Do you install the products that are purchased from you? We do not have an installation crew, however we work very close with multiple contractors which we can recommend in assisting you with your purchases.
Do you carry a full line of plumbing and electrical? Yes. We have everything you need to build a house from the ground up. We are everything the "big box stores" are except we think you will find our customer service and prices better.
Do you have standby generators? Yes. We have teamed up with Generac to bring you access to standby generators. We keep 20kw and 17kw in stock and have access to a full line of residential and commercial units that also include portables.
