Wednesday, Sep 24, 2008 @06:45am CDT (Los Angeles, CA) -- The trial of the woman accused in the MySpace suicide case is being postponed. Lori Drew's trial was scheduled for October 7th, but yesterday a Los Angeles U.S. District judge postponed the trial to take time to decide on the defense's motion to dismiss the case. Drew allegedly helped create a false identity on MySpace to harass her Dardenne Prairie neighbor, Megan Meier. The 13-year-old girl committed suicide in 2006 after receiving mean-spirited messages.
