Monday, Aug 25, 2008 @06:26am CDT (Jefferson City) -- The state Department of Health and Human Services is advising the public that a horse that was on display at the Missouri State Fair has died of rabies. The horse was diagnosed on August 17th, but could have contracted the disease sooner than that. The horse was shown at the Saddlebred Show at the fair.
