Hi, I'm Jeremy Stevens. I anchor KSFX News @ 9 weeknights and report for KOLR10. I grew up in Bellevue, Washington and earned a degree in journalism from the Edward R. Murrow School of Communication at Washington State University. I also studied Spanish and Central American foreign policy at the University of Costa Rica. My first professional broadcasting experience was as a news intern at KHQ in Spokane, WA. Then I headed east to KJCT in Grand Junction, Colorado. I spent most of my time there as the weekday anchor but also worked as a producer, reporter, and even weathercaster. The Ozarks is a great place to live and it's been a pleasure getting involved in the Springfield community. I sit on the board of directors for the Leukemia & Lymphoma society and also serve as a committee chair for the downtown Kiwanis Club. In my spare time I enjoy doing just about anything outdoors. I was a professional ski instructor but I've traded the alpine slopes for kayaking on local rivers and lakes. Feel free to send me an e-mail if you ever have any story ideas or suggestions that you would like us to cover. Click to Email Jeremy |
