![]() Sonya Kullmann I was born and raised in the Ozarks. I grew up in the little town of Lincoln, Missouri where my mom was a teacher and my dad is the local barber. It's such a small town; the only stoplight we have is a flashing caution light! I used to watch KOLR10 growing up, and I even remember watching my morning show co-anchor, Tom Trtan when I was still in high school. After graduation, I went on to the University of Missouri-Columbia and received my Bachelor's of Journalism degree. From there, I got my first "real" television job in Springfield, before moving on to the CBS affiliate in Wichita, Kansas. It was a great job, but I missed the hills, trees, rocks, and water of the Ozarks! So, when I got married, it wasn't a hard decision to move back home. My husband Dustin and I just expanded our family to include our daughter, Madeline. I used to have hobbies that included fishing, scrapbooking, etc., until Madeline arrived. Now my hobbies include sleeping and reading books like "What's Hiding in the Jungle?" When we do have free time, we enjoy fishing and playing with our dog, Rufus. I joined the KOLR-10/Ozarks FOX team in November of 2000. Click to Email Sonya |
