A weekend motorcycle ride turns dangerous for an Ozarks man this morning.

While riding on JJ Highway near Walnut Grove in northwest Greene County, a man tells Sheriff's deputies he felt a sudden stabbing pain in his lower back. The man looked around and noticed a young male standing on the porch of a nearby house with a gun.

The motorcycle driver pulled over, noticed he was bleeding and called for help. He was airlifted to a Springfield hospital where deputies say he was in surgery for several hours.

Investigators are still on the case, questioning people who may have been involved in the incident.
