Tuesday, Dec 1, 2009 @08:47pm CST (Springfield, MO) -- You'd think it was the night before Black Friday again at Border's in Springfield. For some, it's even more exciting. Some folks are already lined up, waiting for Sarah Palin. The former Governor of Alaska is stopping by the book store in the morning at 10:00 a.m. to sign copies of her best-selling book Going Rogue. It's part of her national tour. Palin's last visit to Springfield was more than a year ago, when she was campaigning to be vice president on the Republican ticket. Her supporters say they don't mind spending a chilly night outside. "We are a Christian family that's pro-life and pro-constitution and pro-military and we really admire Sarah Palin and she has the same values. It's a once in a lifetime thing to be this close to her," says supporter Linda Sietstra. Palin will then speak at the College of the Ozarks Wednesday afternoon, an event where she has made it very clear no media is invited. |
