Friday, Nov 20, 2009 @08:56pm CST Those left homeless by the explosion have been getting assistance from the Red Cross.
"It would be devastating to lose your home, or a neighbor, or a friend's home in the middle of the holidays. That's why we're working extra hard to make sure we take care of their needs," said Greg Gaines of the American Red Cross. The Red Cross set up a post right across the street from the explosion site. Members have been taking water to rescue workers and first responders all afternoon and will be there as long as need be. They're asking if you can help, to send money, not clothing or food. You can call 417-832-9500 for more information. |
