As if one big explosion today wasn't enough, Springfield Fire crews were called to another house fire just minutes later.

The Fire Marshall says it was intentionally set.

Someone set fire to a home on the 1000 block of south Main around 4:30pm.

Two elderly people were inside at the time, but were rescued with no injuries.

The home was destroyed and there's now a person of interest in the case.

The Fire Marshall is fairly confident an arrest will be made soon.
