(Springfield, MO) Go out around town and hit up some stores and your bound to think its already Black Friday. Stores are slashing prices in a power play to get customer to dish out those dollars.

It's kind of overwhelming. In some stores you can't walk two feet with out staring straight into a super sale.

Is this normal are a new way of attracting buyers? KOLR/KSFX tried to find out.

Open up your newspaper and bam.

50 percent, 40 percent, even 80 percent discounts are taunting you to forget your tasks spend spend spend. "If it wasn't on sale then I wouldn't be able to do it," explains Reagan Kagle.

Kagle was out shopping the pre Black Friday bargains Thursday.

Stores like Kohl's are offering late night and early bird specials in hopes of having their sales soar along with giving people a little break.

" I think everybody is budgeting right now, the husband, the wife is doing more with less, so they are finding the good buys earlier. I see more lists coming in and I think they are better organized and are shopping everybody," explains Rick Borgard, Kohl's Store Manager.

"Yes this is like the 4th store I've been to from the ads," adds Kagle.

At Home Depot their even promoting prices under $20.00 and $10.00 and their even slashing prices on appliances.

"We're trying to extend the savings to before Black Friday, so we can get them in the stores get them in and shopping," explains Ed Verrette, Home Depot store manager.

There's also an added competition for stores because if one flyer screams sale you sure better be able to beat it.

"Everybody is after it, but it's a good thing," adds Verrette.

And for those like Kagle who have to little ones in tote early sales also mean less stress beating out the ever so crazy crowds.

"It's not hectic and you don't have the volatile behavior," adds Kagle.
