We hear a lot about sustainability these days, but what does it mean?
A daylong conference in Springfield might help you understand. '

It's taking place at Missouri State University today at the Plaster Student Union ballroom.  Anyone can come.

"Sustainability is making sure the resources we use are not going to be overused," explains Ken McClure with Missouri State Information Services.  "In essence we'll be leaving this earth in better shape or no worse than when we came in."

24 exhibitors are on hand to explain how you can make choices to keep our natural resources plentiful.

Contractors are also there to explain the cost and value of LEED construction, which stands for Leader in Energy and Environmental Design.

The exhibits will be up until 7:00 pm tonight.
