(Bentonville, AR) -- A man is now in custody in connection with the disappearance of two missing women from northwest Arkansas.

Bentonville police arrested Nicolas James Johansen Tuesday for hindering an apprehension or prosecution.

Christina Bishop and Louise Bishop were last seen leaving a Sam's Club store.

Investigators found their truck in a parking lot in McDonald Ccounty, Missouri.

Officers say Johansen is Christina Bishop's son.

The Bentonville police chief says Johansen misled authorities when he told several different stories that didn't match up.
