Wednesday, Nov 18, 2009 @06:53am CST (Jefferson City, MO) -- The Missouri Department of Natural Resources is asking the state Attorney General to take legal action against two Ozarks businesses. The DNR says Frankie Schwartz salvage in Dent County is operating a salvage yard without a permit. This violates the Missouri Clean Water Act. And in Camden County, the DNR says Lake Landscaping and Construction's waste water treatment facility violated the act as well. DNR says during an inspection last month, staff documented several serious violations. The owner has been asked to stop all discharge from the facility. |
