  • Senator Bond Upset With Obama Administration For Fundin...

    Tuesday, Nov 17, 2009 @08:53am CST

(Washington, DC)  --  Missouri Senator Kit Bond is upset after new reports surfaced regarding the Obama Administration's move to use U.S. taxpayer stimulus funds to create 3,000 green jobs in China to manufacture wind turbines.

Senator Bond wants to know why the U.S. is funding green jobs in China and other foreign wind-power countries.

He sent a letter last week to Energy Secretary Steven Chu asking for a review of all renewable energy projects in the nation that the government funds to find out where the jobs are heading.

The turbines are for a 36,000-acre wind farm project in West Texas.
