Monday, Nov 16, 2009 @05:20am CST (Hollywood, CA) -- A new star is being added to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. John Stamos will receive Tinseltown's two-thousand,393rd star during ceremonies scheduled to be held at 11:30 a.m. local time. The actor's star will be located at 7021 Hollywood Boulevard. Taking part in the event are Stamos's former "Full House" co-star Bob Saget and writer-producer-director Garry Marshall. Stamos first came to prominence in the early '80s on the ABC soap, "General Hospital." He's currently appearing as Albert Peterson in the Broadway revival of "Bye Bye Birdie." Stamos's star is located right next to the star of Dick Van Dyke, who portrayed Peterson in the original Broadway production. (Copyright 2009 by VERTEXNews/Newsroom Solutions) |
