Reported by: Dan Lucy Friday, Nov 6, 2009 @06:10pm CST The Missouri State Bears have a lot to play for when Terry Allen's team kicks off against Indiana State Saturday at Plaster.
It's the last home game for ten Bear seniors including tight end Clay Harbor. In addition to that, a victory against the 1-8 Sycamores would insure a winning season for Missouri State. The Bears will try to shake the disappointment from last week's loss to Illinois State. Indiana State is rebuilding its program and two weeks ago, picked up its first victory in two years. Allen says his Bears have to forget Illinois State's loss. Terry Allen/MSU Coach:"Our guys obviously knew they had something to play for and an opportunity. Again you go back and find a way to win this week. Then you go to Southern Illinois and it's a pretty good rival for Missouri State. It's the last time they're playing a home game in that stadium and it's televised. So there's a lot of things to play for and finding a way to get to 7-and-4 would be great." |
