You can also see a comedy based on hard-to-believe real-life events starring George Clooney. Charles Dickens' classic holiday fable is re-told in 3-D animation in "Disney's A Christmas Carol." Jim Carrey stars as the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge, and also portrays the three Christmas ghosts who try to open Scrooge's heart. The cast also includes Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, and Robin Wright Penn. Directed by Robert Zemeckis, "Disney's A Christmas Carol" is rated PG "The Men Who Stare At Goats" is based on strange but true real-life events. A shadowy special forces operator, played by George Clooney, helps a reporter, played by Ewan McGregor, uncover a top-secret division of the U.S military that trains to fight using psychic powers. "The Men Who Stare at Goats" is rated R. A financially strapped couple receives a mysterious package on their doorstep in the thriller "The Box." A strange man informs the pair they will receive a million dollars if they press a button on the box, but someone in the world will die. "The Box," starring Cameron Diaz, is rated PG-13.
