(Ft. Smith)  --  The 25-year-old man who confessed to shooting an officer several times is back in Fort Smith.

   Tristan Honey was extradited from New Mexico yesterday and now faces capital attempted murder charges.

   Honey allegedly shot Officer Barney Parsons four times during a routine traffic stop.

   He turned himself into New Mexico authorities three days after admitting to the shooting.

   The officer has been released from the hospital.
