(Pineville, MO) -- An Ozarks county is looking for a missing girl who may be in danger.

The McDonald County Sheriff says 8-year old Rebecca Marie Allen went missing on Halloween night from her home in Washburn.
She has blond hair, brown eyes and weight about 48 pounds.

The sheriff says the girl and her mother, 39-year-old Teresa Allen, were last seen Saturday morning.

Rebecca's father has sole custody because of the mother's mental instability.
The sheriff says the mom has threatened to kill the child before.
