If you're already thinking of how to get your holiday packages to your loved ones on time here are some guidelines from the post office.

If you're mailing international packages including items to a U.S. soldier overseas you're urged to mail them as soon as possible, preferably by November 13th.

Parcel post packages should be mailed no later than the second week of December.

Priority Mail needs to go out by the third week of December.

Express Mail should be at the Post Office by December 21st.
