Tuesday, Nov 3, 2009 @06:11am CST Four schools in the Ozarks are closed because of a high rates of student and staff illness. The superintendent of Norwood R-1 school district says about 109 of 475 students were out by the end of Monday. That's about 33-percent, up from about 28-percent earlier in the day. The district cancelled classes for today and tomorrow, while crews continue to clean, and kids get to feeling better. The Exeter R-6 District is also calling off classes through the end of the week because of illness. Earlier, Chadwick R-1 and Alton R-4 also cancelled classes because of the flu.
