(Springfield, MO) -- A woman from Springfield, accused of having a sexual relationship with a minor, has pleaded guilty.
Laura Kirkland is charged with second degree statutory sodomy.  

She originally entered a not guilty plea back in April. She changed that plea in court Tuesday.

According to Springfield police, Kirkland was participating in a sexual relationship with a teenager.

Court documents say the relationship started with a 16-year-old student while Kirkland was teaching at a Springfield school.
She will be sentenced in January.
