You remember the 'Personal Portrait' of first grader Kaitlynn Munhollon. She'd been fighting a cancer called Neuroblastoma. Family, friends and classmates rallied around her, hoping for a cure. A month or so ago the cancer robbed her of her vision, but she still liked to draw and color. Just one week ago today she asked to go on this outing, to the Battlefield Mall. But that outing would be her last. Kaitlynn died this morning, in the loving arms of her mother, Heather. Funeral plans have yet to be announced, and the family thanks viewers for their support. Kaitlynn Munhollon leaves behind her parents, a brother and two sisters. She was eight years old. |
