Thursday, Jan 17, 2008 @08:34pm CST Kahlua Pork Ingredients: 3-4 lb. Pork Tenderloin or roast 2 T. Liquid Smoke (we prefer 1 can Dr. Pepper Salt Pepper Directions: Rub Pork with Salt and Pepper all over. Place in crock pot. Pour Liquid Smoke over pork. Add 1/2 can Dr. Pepper to Crock. Cover and set on low. Cook for 8 to 10 hours. You may need to add more Dr. Pepper halfway through cooking time if crock pot cooks at a higher temperature. Remove and shred with fork. You can also make sauce with the drippings. Just pour into small saucepan, add 1/4 cup Dr. Pepper and reduce. These make great sandwiches to eat while watching the game. *You can also place back in crock after shredding and pour over sauce. Set crock pot to Keep Warm setting and let everyone serve themselves buffet style. Submitted by: Leigh Ann Myers, |
