(Atlanta)  A meter being marketed globally to promote energy savings is coming to the United States.

  The ecoMeter - a monitor that can be placed anywhere in the home - displays electric, water and gas usage. The device also offers real-time pricing information to allow consumers to adjust usage to save costs during peak demand times.

  The product has been used in Australia for two years. Developed by Ampy Metering, it will on display at the DistribuTech Expo in Tampa Bay, Florida, from January 22 to 24.
