Springfield could be more green after tomorrow night's city council meeting.

City leaders are looking at implementing a Central Street recycling coalition.

If approved, the operation would be a partnership between Greene County, Drury, OTC, the Springfield R-12 School District, the Springfield-Greene County Library, and the Board of Public Utilities to promote recycling in a central collection location.

Also on the agenda, a donation of land from the Springfield R-12 School District to the City and Park Board.

The Springfield Skate Park says it's continuing mediation with the Park Board to reach a solution for the future of its operations.
