Hi, I'm Kevin Schwaller, reporter for KOLR10/KSFX Ozarks Fox.

I grew up in the southern suburbs of Chicago.  The Midwest has always been my home. 

In 2005 I moved to Columbia, Missouri to attend MU.  During my time in school, I worked as a reporter for KOMU 8 News, an NBC affiliate station.  I also worked as an intern for the NBC News international desk in London.   Before that I spent most of my time in radio, working for Columbia's National Public Radio affiliate, KBIA.

I received my Bachelor's degree in Radio-Television Journalism from the University of Missouri.  In addition to the journalism degree, I graduated with a Minor in Political Science.

Music is my second passion.  I've played guitar for just about as long as I've been reporting (since the beginning of high school).  There's nothing like playing shows or jamming with a big group of friends!

Outside of playing and listening to music, I like to spend time hanging out with family and friends.  I'm also a big reader.  Perusing bookstores for a great piece of literature or a timely, non-fiction tale is almost a hobby.
