Saturday, Dec 22, 2007 @10:00pm CST Super Saturday, the Saturday before Christmas is traditionally one of the biggest shopping days of the year. It's especially important for retailers this year, with sales lagging in December. But what's it like for shoppers who seem to be racing against time? Shoppers in Springfield hit up Target to cash in on some last minute holiday bargains. Some say it's stressful to wait until today, while others consider it tradition. Some department stores like Macy's are opening up a few stores across the country 24 hours a day until Christmas Eve to hopefully bring in more holiday shoppers. KSFX/KOLR photojournalist Eric Redus brings us into the shopping frenzy. |
