It was the battle of the chefs Thursday night at Springfield's Oasis Hotel and Convention Center.

Chef James Clary defended his title against Chef Johnson Tan of Ocean Zen.  This year's secret ingredient was avocados

While the two chefs were battling it out, guests enjoyed food and drink, while bidding on live and silent auction items while raising funds for the March of Dimes.

And this year's winner of the signature chef competition was Chef Tan.
